Privacy Policy

Account information. When you register, we collect your name and email address, and a hashed (never plaintext) password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google account identifier from Google.

Your content. We store the decks you create, including slide text, prompts and knowledge-base text you enter, images you upload or generate, narration audio, and any style reference images or logos you provide.

Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor, Stripe, collects your billing details (such as card number and billing address) directly. We receive limited billing metadata from Stripe (such as your subscription status, invoice history, and a customer identifier) — we do not receive or store your full card number.

Usage and device information. We automatically log information such as your IP address (used for rate-limiting and abuse prevention), timestamps of account activity (such as sign-in times), and basic request metadata (such as browser user-agent) as part of normal server operation.

Support communications. If you contact support, we collect the content of your messages and any information you choose to include.

We use a small number of strictly necessary, first-party cookies to keep you signed in: a short-lived session cookie and a longer-lived refresh cookie, both of which are essential to authenticating you and are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies. Because these cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function, they are not subject to opt-out consent requirements under applicable law.

We use the information described above to:

• provide, maintain, and secure the Service, including authenticating you and preventing fraud and abuse;
• generate slide content, images, and narration from your prompts and content, by sending it to the third-party AI providers described in Section 4;
• process payments and manage your subscription or usage credits;
• send you transactional email (account verification, password reset, receipts, and service notices) and respond to support requests;
• enforce our Terms of Service and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your content to serve you third-party advertising.

We share information with the following categories of service providers, only as needed for them to perform services on our behalf:

• AI text and image generation providers — receive the prompts, knowledge-base text, and reference images you submit, to generate slide outlines, text, and images.
• AI speech-synthesis providers — receive your slide narration scripts, to generate spoken audio.
• Google — provides "Sign in with Google" authentication and receives the standard OAuth information needed to authenticate you.
• Stripe — processes payments and receives your billing information directly.
• Cloudflare (Turnstile) — provides bot/abuse protection on sign-up and sign-in and receives limited technical information needed to do so.
• Our email delivery provider — sends transactional email on our behalf and receives the recipient address and message content of that email.

These providers are contractually restricted from using your information for any purpose other than providing services to us, except as they separately disclose in their own privacy policies. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete a deck, it is moved to an archive from which it can be restored, and is then permanently deleted after 30 days. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable time, except where we are required to retain certain records (such as billing records) to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including password hashing, encrypted transport (HTTPS), and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You can access and update your name, email, and password, unlink a connected Google account, and delete your account and its content at any time from your profile page. You may also contact us using the information in Section 11 to exercise these rights or ask questions about your information.

California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used and disclosed, to request deletion of their personal information, to correct inaccurate personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can exercise these rights using the contact information in Section 11 or from your profile page; we will verify your request using your account credentials before acting on it.

Other jurisdictions. If you are located outside the United States, you may have additional rights under your local law (for example, the right to data portability or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority). We process personal information in the United States, and by using the Service you consent to your information being transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us using the information in Section 10 and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
